I have really enjoyed riding this E300 Razor to work that is one mile away. I get back roads because this E300 Scooter isn’t allowed on public sidewalks or streets. I usually walk it over the main busy street.The E300 Scooter works as advertised. E300 Scooter has good pick-up on flats. It seems to stuggle somewhat on any incline. I’m 154 lbs. Everyone that has ridden E300 Scooter has loved it. The chain drive is comparatively quiet. E300 Scooter has great gas mileage…like none. I haven’t ridden it right to see how long the battery would last. I’ve been able to get backwards and forwards to operate twice (1 mile each way) before I noticed a reduction in power. However, the low battery light didn’t seriously so I’m not sure when the power decline was because I had been going up-hill.
Something that’s hokey is that you cannot lock the handle within the down position. A screw unlocks E300 Scooter so you can fold it down, but it’s not very portable as there is no way to lock it down. bad design.
Also, the paperwork says battery is good for about 250-300 charges. This can be under two year’s price of travel to/from work for me. I haven’t looked up the price of a new battery.
The only other thing that I’ve noticed is that the E300 Scooter includes a strong odor of motor oil after riding it. I have to store E300 Scooter within the hallway throughout the day because it made my office smell like an old oily garage. I additionally spot the smell when transporting it in my car. It is the oil for that chain, but haven’t investigated it.
